FAQs
Whether you want to donate flowers, volunteer, partner with us, or nominate a facility, we are glad you are here.
Below are answers to some of the most common questions about Joy Petalers and how our mission works.
Do I need floral experience to volunteer?
Not at all! Joy Petalers welcomes volunteers of all skill levels. Our Floristas and team members provide guidance and training, and there are many ways to help—from arranging flowers to making deliveries, organizing donations, assisting with events, and providing administrative support.
Can I donate flowers from a wedding or event?
Yes! We gladly accept gently used flowers from weddings, corporate events, funerals, and special occasions. Your donated blooms are upcycled into cheerful bouquets that are delivered throughout the community, helping spread kindness and reducing floral waste. Fill out this form to set up your donation
How can my company become a partner?
We love partnering with businesses and organizations. Companies can support Joy Petalers through sponsorships, team volunteer experiences, flower donations, transportation support, or financial contributions. Please visit our Partners page or contact us to explore a partnership that aligns with your company’s goals and community impact initiatives.
I am a non-profit. Can you provide flowers for my event?
We are happy to pick up florals after an event but due to our relationships with our floral partners we refrain from supplying flowers. We are always eager to explore other ways we can partner with non-profits!
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. Joy Petalers is a nonprofit organization, and donations may be tax-deductible as allowed by law. Donors should consult their tax advisor for specific guidance regarding charitable contributions.
How do I nominate a facility?
You can nominate outpatient care clinics, hospice centers, senior living communities, shelters, schools, veterans’ facilities, and other nonprofit organizations to receive Joy Petalers bouquets or workshops. Simply fill out our nomination form with the facility’s name, location, and contact information so our team can learn more about their needs.
